ACCESS dANCE

Program overview

Access Dance is a nonprofit 501c3 adaptive dance program for children and adults with disabilities. Access is designed especially for people who may need special attention in order to fully experience the joy of movement, self-expression and the therapeutic benefits of dance.

We have been serving families since 2012.

Our program is lead by a former professional dancer with a background in developmental psychology and behavioral therapy. Access has been specially developed to increase attention span, emotional regulation, social skills, mind body connection, coordination and confidence. The program teaches many styles of dance including hip hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet, meditation and conditioning. Access offers group classes as well as one-to-one lessons. All participants have the opportunity to perform on stage and participate in community events that promote inclusion.
